Hurray, the world didn't end!

Dear everyone that I love,

HA! We are still here! Yes, I did hear about the man who said the world would end on saturday, and thankfully, it didn't There is still much that I need to do before then.

England is great. I love the people of Britain so much! They are so great. I have met some amazing people here.

Last night we had a lesson with one of our investigators, Ashley, and it was great. He is super and has a lot of questions, which is great because it shows that he wants to learn, which as a missionary, you can't ask for anything more than that! I love it. We took our new ward mission leader with us, and they clicked really well, too. It was great. Brother Worthington was even able to help him resolve some of his concerns, which makes our job easier, and makes Ashley's conversion last better. I love missionary work.

Well, I was reading in the ensign a couple days ago about repentance, and it talked about a brace that someone was required to wear in order for a back injury to heal properly. It was extremely uncomfortable, but to complete the healing process, it need to be worn. Similar to that brace, sometimes repentance makes us uncomfortable and puts us in uncomfortable situations. But after those feelings come true healing. I know that we really can become cleansed of our sins if we will but repent.

I love you all so much! Keep the Faith!

Hi Mom. I'm Wet.

Hahahaha sorry about the subject. It's pretty rainy here in England. Good thing I love the rain! But it does make proselytizing a little bit more difficult.

Well, we went on exchanges this week. On Wednesday, I was with Elder Gallacher, from Glasgow, Scotland. He is one of the Assistants to the President and he is amazing. I learned a lot from him and we had a lot of fun as well. I also went on exchange with Elder Jager, from Germany, who was in the Blackburn ward when I was as well. It was a lot of fun. We worked hard and the Lord blessed us a lot.

We were able to teach the 9 year old non member granddaughter of a member, and she is good. She doesn't want to get baptised until October, for some reason. But she is from London, and so her accent is quite posh. She's got an attitude, as well, haha. But she's great. It's different teaching children. It's a test of your teaching ability to teach is so simply that a child can understand it. It made me stop and re-evaluate my teaching. I've still got a lot to learn.

But things here are great. I love them. This is such an amazing place to do missionary work. I love serving the Lord and the people of the U.K. so much! I know that this is the only true church on the earth and that Christ stands at the head. I love you all so much and I am so grateful for having you in my life! I love you!

?kniht ouy t'nod ,gnizama si tfarchsA redlE

Hello everyone!

It was great to talk to you yesterday! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. You look great and I have the best family ever.

Well, It was a really good week here in Moreton. The Lord really blessed us. We found some really good people, including Gino, a young man. Originally we spoke to him ages ago, but our appointment with him fell through, so we thought nothing of it and moved on. Then, as we were leaving the library last p day, he ran after us and asked us to call him again because this is something he wants to do. So we rang him the next morning, and his mother answered, and pretty much said that Gino has her full support if he wants to join the church. Usually one of the things that keeps our investigators from progressing is opposition from family members. So hopefully we'll be able to teach him in the next couple of days. It just goes to show that people really are searching for the truth and being prepared by the Lord.

Also, there's great news: WE FINALLY HAVE A WARD MISSION LEADER!!!! We haven't had one my whole time here in the Moreton Ward, but finally we got one! Brother Matthew Worthington. We're really excited. He is really good and wants the ward to grow and the people to progress. Buckle up, Birkenhead. A train's coming to town, and there's some more beastliness on it. That was a really weird sentence. But I know the Church is true, so it's okay! I love you all and thanks for everything!

Marriage for Mortality. Until I baptise them.

Well, there was a wedding here a couple of days ago. Some prince or something married some woman, and the ceremony was done by some man who really needs an eyebrow trim (no, not me, someone else. Very funny, hahaha. Not.). Anyways, we actually got permission to watch the wedding, and it was really....different. They were quoting some scripture and said "For God so loved the world that He sent Himself..." I about fell out of my chair! It was pretty crazy. It's sad to see how much people have perverted the pure doctrines of the Gospel.

I know that God sent His Son to earth that we might live if we believe in Him and follow His commandments. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of the nature of God, that He is our LOVING Father in Heaven, and that we have the potential to become like Him. It's amazing to know that He is willing to bless us with that gift. He loves us. Love Him back.

I also know that marriage, when done by the proper authority can last forever, not just "till death do you part." I'm so grateful for that.

Well, the hats at the wedding were pretty crazy. One looked like a moose. But that's okay. The Church is true!
I love you all and have a great week!
